My studio in downtown Northampton, MA offers piano-based music lessons to people of all ages, including children as young as 3. The bulk of my studio is children and I am very mindful of a child's developmental stage in my teaching choices. For the foundations, I use my own book, Audi88, (under construction) as well as parts of Music Moves for Piano series by Marilyn Lowe and Edwin E. Gordon.

Supplemental material includes classical repertoire, pop/rock/folk songs, and lively and accessible "teaching" pieces. Attention to the comprehension of meter and harmonic function informs solfège exercises, improvisation, sight reading and interpretation.

Students are also encouraged to pursue their individual interests.
